quantum impact racing

who we are

QUANTUM IMPACT Racing, founded by 6 highschool students, is a STEM RACING Team based in Rhein-Main Hessen and NRW Aachen competing for the first time in the 2024/2025 STEM Racing season.

On the 07.02.2025 we were crowned Hessen Champions and the Best Newcomer team at the regionals finals WEST. We qualfied out of a pool of 90+ teams to the German National Finals, where we will be competing against 16 of the top teams in Germany for a spot in the World Finals this year.

Our team Identity

The name may seem a little strange at first glance, but it has a deeper meaning if you look closely.

The word ‘quantum’ refers to the Latin word used today as the smallest unit of physical measurement, symbolising the attention to detail and precision we apply to our work. The word ‘impact’ refers to the influence we want to make with our work. To make a difference by motivating other students who may only learn about it from others to, participate in such competitions.

"STRIVE FOR PERFECTION, DRIVE TO IMPACT"

Our slogan describes the mentality and the goals of the team very well. Our mentality is to always aim for the best possible, even if we know that this is often difficult even for the best of the best, this does not scare us to give up. With this we want to motivate other people and leave an ‘impact’, as you can read in the second part of the slogan. The goal of good results, that we consider realistic, are also an essential part of leaving this ‘impact’.

Just like our slogan says, we "Race to impact", that's why we create events where we can help bring younger generations closer to STEM. We visited the primary school section of our school where we showed our car and our CAD designs and briefly explained to them the concepts of aerodynamics with exciting videos from our wind tunnel. We also have collaborations with Malaysian and Brazilian STEM Racing teams where we have regular information sharing sessions to help foster STEM education around the world.

Our Goal and ambitions

It is also important to mention that this competition is our first in the MINT and Finance category, which is not a humiliation for us but a motivation to do even better to create the necessary momentum to get to the next rounds and win there as well. Ultimately, our main goal is to make it to the World Finals and win there too.
